what I watched *live* this morning

The music at the wedding was spectacular - we loved the choir of little boys. Adorable. Speaking of adorable, aren't those little bridal attendants sweet? Pretty as a picture :)

The cheering got a little monotonous after a while, but you could excuse it since everyone was so happy :) But I know that my arm would get tired if I were Prince William or Princess Catherine - they waved at thousands and thousands of people!

Doesn't Kate have a gorgeously modest wedding gown!?!? I was thrilled. And that tiara? Lovely!
It was totally worth getting up at 5:15am to see :)

  1. As I was saying on Anna Olivia's blog, KK and I so wanted to see it but Pa and Mom are just sick of hearing about it so there was no way we were waking them up at 5 to see it. *sobs* Alas, I will have to be content with watching it on YouTube.

*gasp* I adore Kate! Her dress was stunning (and so modest!) and she is gorgeous! Lovely hair, too!

It looks like such an elegant, fairy tale affair...I can't wait to see it!!!

    Love ya,
    Nana

  2. I totally agree about Kate's wedding dress! I've been admiring it all day! I was surprised to find out how modest and traditional and absolutely beautiful it was. :)

  3. I *completely* forgot to get up to see this! Ugh. :( Oh well. We got to see some of the highlights at about 8:30 A.M., which was fun. I was thrilled to see that Catherine wore a dress that was not only beautiful and elegant, but modest, too. And that tiara? Forgive me while I faint. :) And weren't Prince William and Catherine so cute together? ♥ I just loved it... well, the little that I saw, that is. :) We're going to stream it live tonight off of the Royal Wedding channel on Youtube, so we can see the whole ceremony from start to finish.

Blessings on you and your family this evening, dear!

  4. LOVE!! I attempted to watch it this morning but I was too tired, so I watched it this afternoon. BEST. WEDDING. EVER. Okay, maybe not the best, it was pretty long, but I ADORED Kate's dress and the flower girls and bridesmaids and the choir absolutely melted me and *sigh* I wanna be a princess now :))

  5. I cordially disagree about the dress being modest, the V in the front is too deep, otherwise it would have been fine!

  6. We watched it too!
She did have a pretty cool dress I think! We didn't see it from the very start though.
    Love,

  7. I woke up and watched it live too! Such a LOVELY gown! I have always been a fan of wedding gowns with some sort of sleeve...even its just little...so I was thrilled to see her wearing lace sleeves! Simply stunning! I bet it will become quite popular now for wedding gowns!

Lovely wedding---William and Kate are so adorable together!

  8. While you got up at 5 AM to watch it, I stayed up until 11 PM to watch it (not live). I, too, loved Kate's dress, her poise, and how totally happy she and Prince William looked.

  11. It was such a beautiful wedding!! I didn't watch it live, but I did see clips on You Tube today.

Kate is simply lovely! It is a dream wedding dress. :) I love it's elegance.
{btw, I agree about the gown being a modest wedding dress...
    especially since a lot of the dresses today are tight, clingy, and show too much. Even though it might be a little too low for my taste, it certainly is flattering on Kate.}

I think that Kate and William are a wonderful couple...they look so happy together. :)

    Great post, Jo!

    Blessings,
